NBA star Dwyane Wade is back in Chicago to help stop the violence with a benefit.
He's bringing some of his friends together from the sports and entertainment world for an event called "Young, Fly, and And Flashy Weekend." It will benefit Ceasefire to help stop the violence and shootings in Chicago area public schools.
" We go different schools& to talk to the kids and hope to use Saturday to talk to kids about violence and about other ways you can take to be successful in life and do things differently.," said Dwayne Wade, Miami Heat player.
Wade says he wants to give back to community based organizations that helped him as a youth while growing up in the South Side of Chicago.
